ABOUT:
Hello, I'm Garret Harkawik. I'm a documentary filmmaker and composer living in southern Vermont. Since 2001 I have completed nearly a dozen short documentaries and accompanying scores. My work has been screened at festivals like DOC NYC, Rooftop Films and featured in The Atlantic, Short of the Week and twice as a Vimeo Staff Pick.
Garretharkawik.com serves as a clearinghouse for my various creative projects. More than a portfolio website, I think of this space as a the publishing platform for my work. Here you can find hours of my films, music and miscellaneous other projects housed online.
I am sometimes available for commissioned work, please inquire with me if you are interested, or if you would like to set up a screening of one of my films.
Please feel free to contact me about anything else, as I am a huge fan of receiving emails:
