Watch a clip from my new documentary “A Very Large Gesture”

I’m almost finished with my new short documentary so I’m sharing a little clip from it. It’s called A Very Large Gesture and is about Ted Pelkey, a man in northern Vermont who has been trying for over ten years to build an 8,000 square foot garage in his front yard. So far he has been unable to obtain building permits from his town, which has led to considerable frustration on his part.

As you’ll see, he decided to express his frustration by installing a very unique sculpture in his front yard:

The film is around thirteen minutes long and features an original score by myself and Karl Hohn. An EP of the score will released in the next few months.

Ted’s saga has been reported on quite a bit in New England, but I think I’ve found a little more to the story than what has been covered thus far. I’m currently looking for somewhere to premiere it online so hopefully it will be watchable soon.
